Whenever I travel I’m always asked to share images on social media, which I do. Not all my friends do social media and sometimes those images don’t tell the full story, what had occurred at that point in time, why I be there in the first place or why the image, to me, is significant. Images don’t capture the reason the old man is laughing, the smells coming from a bakery, the sound of the wind whistling through a canyon or the mood of the moment.
My blog is my attempt to share those experiences through images, capture that moment in time with accompanying narrative. To take the reader on the journey with me and endeavour to convey those experiences I’ve encountered, to share what I see, smell, hear and feel. I may not be able to capture the smell of fresh baked crusty bread like only the French can make but through my blog I might be able to get close to making you feel like you’re almost there.
